Here are my latest sticker designs! I love to see my original artwork like this. It feels great to see a simple rough sketch of an idea get turned into something tangible, something you can physically hold and see. 

Classic Monsters of Horror! “The Creature from the Black Lagoon”

Been wanting to draw this one for a long time! Most people don’t even know who this iconic Hollywood monster is. Over the years, I’ve come to really appreciate those old classic horror movies and characters. They’re a lot of fun to watch. #keepdrawing!

Old logo design reworks, part 1!

Lately, I’ve been going back over old design projects I’d started in the past. Here is an old  logo design created when I was just beginning to understand the pen tool in Adobe Illustrator. I reworked the design and tweaked it to come up with this current version. I ordered some promo stickers and should be getting them within the next week. 

1st Etsy store sell!

I just recently had my 1st Etsy shop sale. I packed and mailed the order out to the customer, updated the order status on my account and quietly celebrated my achievement. I had the funds from the sale hit my account within a day or so. A great experience for me, so far. 👍

The best part of the sale was getting the positive review back from the happy customer. One positive review, a victory? Hell yes! As an artist, it feels good when your work is recognized and admired. And yes, even better when someone PAYS you for your work!  Since the sale, I’ve been working on more on my Etsy page, adding more products, increasing my presence, etc. 

Will I get more Etsy sales in the future? Who knows? Can’t say but so far the experience itself has been great.

Halloween inspired art: Jack Skellington!

Something different! In all honesty, I was never really into “A Nightmare before Christmas!” but I felt inspired to draw my first Jack Skellington! How can you go wrong drawing Anything Halloween-related?! I only intended to create a black and white drawing, but ended up creating an awesome full color print. I’all be posting this to sell as a print in my Etsy shop by the end of the week. Keep drawing!!

Halloween art: Pumpkinhead!

This is a quick sketch inspired by the monster Pumpkinhead. I loved this movie when it came out in the late ‘80’s. The character was pretty badass and the story was good, too. I went with a colored background and used just black for the main ink work and then used a brownish- orange combo for the shading. Keep drawing!🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃
